Great Richmond Region’s Best Swimming Pool Maintenance

Swimming Pool Service

Each service is performed by a swimming pool service technician and billed according to time spent on site providing selected services. All trucks are equipped with GPS tracking to ensure accurate billing.

Pool Opening

This service includes:

  • Power wash safety cover, fold and store where customer instructs
  • Cover with BioGuard’s Stow Away prior to bagging. This product helps keep the cover conditioned and prevents critters from going in the bag
  • Power wash the concrete/decking where the cover laid
  • Anchors placed in the recessed position
  • Start up the circulation system, and test water
  • If the water is green, the pool walls and floor are brushed
  • If the water is clear to the bottom, the pool will be vacuumed on waste with our portable system to ensure no clogging of lines from winter sediment
  • Secure handrails and ladders if deemed safe
  • Add pool opening chemicals

Pool Winterization

Closing chemicals need to be added prior to our Service Department winterizing the pool.

This service includes:

  • 30 minutes of leaf raking/cleaning of any debris and covering the pool with safety cover
  • Winterizing all pool equipment
  • Removing ladders/handrails
  • Blowing the lines with a compressor and plugging the lines to prohibit freeze damage

If the customer does not have a safety cover and uses a tarp to cover for the off season, we will winterize the system and pool, but we will not cover the pool with the tarp.

Weekly Pool Cleaning

Swimming pool sanitation includes vacuuming, emptying skimmer baskets, backwashing/rinsing the filter, and adjusting chemical levels on site.

Weekly Chemical Check & Water Chlorination

Emptying skimmer baskets, backwashing/rinsing the filter, and adjusting chemical levels on site.

Leak Detection

We use LeakTrac sonar equipment to detect any leaks from inside the pool. Pressure testing is also provided to test the lines of the system. Repairs are made as needed.

Pool Equipment Diagnostic

Evaluate the pool equipment to check for any visible wear or leaks within the system.

Pool Inspections

A technician from our Service Department will perform a visual inspection of the overall pool and equipment only. No repairs will be performed the day of inspection. Pressure testing of any plumbing is not included. A water sample is collected for a professional water analysis using our BioGuard testing software. An inspection report will be provided for any repairs or replacements needed.

Filter Sand Change

Removing the old sand, replacing the lateral assembly and multi-port collar o-ring. We then put BioGuard’s Strip-Kwik product in the filter tank to break down old filter grime and clean the inside. Replenish with new sand and start up the system. Old filter sand is disposed of on site or can be removed for a fee.

It is recommended for all chlorine and/or salt water pools to change the sand in your filter every 3 to 5 years. For a Biguanide, Soft Swim or Baquacil pool, it is recommended to change the sand in the filter every year.

Salt System Installation

We install either a Hayward or Pentair salt cell, box, flow switch and anode to the system according to the pool’s gallon capacity. Additional plumbing materials will be adjusted according to the existing configuration.

Pump Repair/Replacement

Pump diagnostic to see if the seal kit needs to be replaced or replace the motor completely. Repair leaks or any plumbing. We will test the suction line for possible blockage or if it’s compromised.

Spa Removal/Delivery

Using a Spa Dolly, a specialized spa trailer, we can easily remove or move hot tubs for disposal or to a new location.
